My favourite Edinburgh eatery,
this place is cool without being cold, stylish without compromising
content and vegetarian without being scary to carnivores. There's
just something extra required to make a decent vege ressy and David
Bann does it just right. Interesting global influences from the
Med and well into Asia make the menu sing and the execution is superbly
professional. Everyone present, the table staff, the customers,
the kitchen, all seemed happy to be there, I know I certainly was, and
what a difference that kind of atmosphere makes to a meal. I've
since asked other Edinburgh experts about this place and I get general
agrrement that it's still the real deal. Book a table to avoid
disappointment, you won't regret it.
