The Chilli Pickle

Tel : 900383 | 17 Jubilee Street

Relocated from its cosy hideaway in the Lanes, the Chilli Pickle has transferred successfully to a new, more obvious, and much larger, premises under the My Hotel in Jubilee St. Fortunately for them, all their previous word-of-mouth recommended followers have done just that and followed them on their onward and upward trajectory.

The food's always been good. Bold but accurate spicing delivers meals to remember and the innovation on the menu keeps you coming back for more. Add some excellent Belgian, English and German beers and there's not much to complain about. I've had some great dining experiences here, once, the lamb done 3 ways left me wondering if it could be bettered. Certainly the best Indian restaurant in Brighton and in our top 5 of any local eatery. Almost a victim of its success so booking a table is an absolute requirement.

[ EDIT 2013 : The Chilli Pickle Launches Takeaway service ]

The Chilli Pickle Canteen

Good news for anyone in and around BN1 who doesn't want to step outside but still wants the best of Tibet (and Bangladesh and the Punjab etc...).
The Chilli Pickle is now delivering and of course it's pretty pretty good. They're ironing out the bumps in the web ordering process right now but the food, packaging, style and menu is already perfectly good. Try the Railway Tray as a first attempt, it might look compact but trust me, it's enough. Then branch out into the thalis. From there on in, you may never order another Indian delivery again.

Menu : Highly refined Bangladeshi street
