The second thing that hits you is the fresh clean light bright modern design. The first is the deli at the front designed to pull in the punters and add a little genuine excitement, like being invited out the back of the shop to sample special treats. The short and simple menu offers basic classics with a specials board for the slightly more adventurous. Most importantly, top quality ingredients are allowed to speak for themselves but with lashings of luxury provided by liberal ladles of butter, olive oil and garlic. Just to make sure the competition get a little less sleep at night, we're also treated to fresh baked special breads which make sure the now fashion boxes get ticked. A brief mention for the staff who are generally enhtusiastic, although this might slip with time, leaves time to highlight the puds which you'd expect to be good here and they are. Try the Affogato with Averna liqueur, Bellisimo !
This place is an instant success, like an evening response to organic breakfast buddy, Bill's, round the corner. A definite recommendation and could even be up for the Golden Doughnut this year.
